Ignacio Gutierrez is an experienced farmer, before coffee he uses to have a plantation of vegetables and in the year 2000 he started his coffee journey. No, he has many farms, but La Roxanita is one of the most important. It has been awarded on many occasions for their coffee production and he is consider one of the most consistent and outstanding producers in coffee. Since planting his first coffee trees, Ignacio’s farms have become one of El Salvador’s most prized and unique plantations.

He produces a wide selection of varieties, processing some as fully washed, and some as honey. Chalatenango, the region where La Roxanita is located, has built a solid reputation for amazing coffee. 

Finca Roxanita 

Finca La Roxanita is located in San Ignacio, Chalatenango, it is in the center of an important mountain rage where is produced in large numbers the pacamara variety which was created in El Salvador.  The farm sits at an elevation of 1400-1500 masl in El Salvador’s Chalatenango region, the region is known for its volcanic mountain ranges and beautiful landscapes. This geographic condition plus their unique farming practice lead them to great success in the coffee industry
