About

Anthony, the oldest of the Marin brothers, once fought as a soldier against terrorists, spending months in the jungle during Peru’s long internal conflict—one that deeply impacted the Yanesha and other indigenous communities. In 2023, he showed us the hill near San Pedro de Pichanaz where singer Juaneco died in a plane crash. Today, Anthony is fully dedicated to coffee. He leads the cooperative with his siblings, cultivates Canephora and Arabica, and manages his own farm La Despreciada. There, he produces a natural-processed Caturra and Catuai.
