Born and raised in Santa Tecla El Salvador but has spent his last 15 years abroad – first in Mexico studying visual arts and managing his own bar and now as a photographer and graphic designer in Sweden. Andrés’s love and interest in photography goes all the way – from repairing and re-building old analog camaras to making his own dry plates. Immersing himself in the whole process of things is something typical for Andrés and is why he was drawn to VolCA, where he can follow the grain of coffee from the plantation through toasting and preparation to an outstanding cup of espresso.
